Design & myself

I currently work on website creation and graphic design in Soka, Saitama, Japan.

I studied textile design at an art college in England from 1999 to 2006. (BA, MA)

Since 2007, I have worked as a designer in the product development department of a textile design company in Tokyo.
My main work was designing colours and patterns for textile products, creating textile structures, and creating product catalogues.

From the year 2011 to 2016, I worked for a used car export company.
I created advertising materials (store signs, banners, advertising materials, and website images) for the used car dealerships in Japan and abroad.

During this time, I also did some graphic design work and created websites as a side job.

My new career

I lived in Myanmar and Indonesia from 2018 to July 2021 due to work. Living there and working with the local staff was really rewarding and fulfilling.
However I contracted corona virus in Indonesia during the prolonged corona pandemic disaster (critical in Indonesia, I waited for hospitalization but no bed was available).
Returned to Japan in 2021.

I decided to relearn the basics of graphic design and website design, which I had been doing as side business, at an online website design school.
Fortunately, thanks to a corona infection, I was able to use a large sum of money from my overseas medical insurance to pay for my treatment, which I used to pay for the website design school.
